Cronological History of Southern Dream Station led solely by Alexander L. / Dreamstation Productions, Inc. :
1999 - 2002: I had just disbanded myself from an Electronic band by the name of Slint in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I was in much need of expanding my creativity beyond just lead vocals and a from time to time fill in Synthesizer player. In 2000 I began to slowly write and create my own music. The aftermath was decent, but I was still feeling something was missing or the creativity wasn't up to full blast, so to speak. A year or so later, in 2001, I decided to go full Synthesizer mode. In other words, there were no real instruments involved, which helped financially since I didn't have a lot of means to go by at that time. In 2002, I had made a handfull of songs, and actually sent them to a few acquantenences to see what they thought, get different opinions on my first outing on full Synth and Electronic Music. The outcome was fair, but I still wasn't there...
2003 - 2006: By 2003 and 2004, I was getting exhausted, mentally, from writing music and thinking of ways to be unique and not like most other mainstream electronic acts and artists, I had decided to take a long due break from the industry. I had several jobs as an accountant, which I had went to school for back in the mid 1990's. Along the way of one of those jobs, I met a person who helped me learn the in-depth process of the producing side of Electronic Music and expanding my capacity on the Synthesizer. In 2005, I finally settled in one place, which was Smithville, Tennessee. I had moved around to several different states and was in that mode of not being totally happy in one place, so I'd move again to see if that would take place. Finally, I was pleased at the peace that had fulfilled my life at this point, musically and mentally. In 2006 I was able to clear my mind and began on creating and producing a full LP, and I decided to have a title for myself as a musician. I decided to call myself - The Noise Transfusion...
2007 - 2008: By early 2007, I was nearly finished with my first LP as The Noise Transfusion. By September of 2007, I was finished with the first product - The LP 'The Noise Transfusion'. A few months later I began writing and producing my second LP, which in the midst of that, changed my name for personal reasons and upon the decision that it wasn't unique enough. A week or two later, I became TheDreamStation and in early 2008 realeased my 2nd LP 'A Room Full Of Daisies'. From there, I was headed into the latest LP, which will be called 'Pillow Carnival'.
